Q4 2023 Performance of Top Virtual Fitness iOS Apps in Brazil

In the fourth quarter of 2023, the virtual fitness landscape on iOS in Brazil saw varying trends across key applications, as reported by Sensor Tower. We take a look at the performance of five prominent apps in this category.

Strava: Run, Bike, Hike experienced a notable increase in weekly active users, rising from 176K in the last week of September to over 216K by the end of December. Downloads peaked in late October at around 19K, with another surge to 21K in the final week of December. Revenue showed a dip in late October but recovered, ending the quarter with 37K USD.

Zwift: Ride and Run showed a more modest performance, with weekly active users starting at 87 and reaching 171 by the quarter's end. Downloads were minimal early in the quarter but jumped to 153 in the last week of December. Revenue fluctuated, closing the quarter at just over 10K USD.

Queima Diária - Treino em Casa saw fluctuations in its weekly active users, starting at 5.7K and ending at 5.7K, with peaks and troughs in between. Download numbers saw a significant rise in the first two weeks of October but then decreased, spiking again to 1.3K in the final week. Revenue reflected a similar pattern, with a notable drop in early December before a slight recovery to 4K USD.

JustFit: Lazy Workout & Fit demonstrated growth in weekly active users, from 2.3K to 7.5K. Downloads showed an impressive increase, particularly in early December, where they peaked at over 10K. Revenue trends were positive, ending the quarter with 8.4K USD.

Lastly, TrainingPeaks observed an increase in weekly active users from 1.2K to 1.4K. Downloads were low at the start of the quarter but saw a substantial hike to 263 in the last week. Revenue ended on a positive note at 3.1K USD.
